Testimonials
· "When I met Michael I immediately felt comfortable with him after speaking with him for two minutes. He had such an easy and honest way of making me feel comfortable with myself before and especially after we were done with my first treatment. I've had doctors give me injections before, but I felt rushed and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Michael was so gentle and caring. I'll never go to anyone else!"
- Margaret 48

· "What can I say about Michael, or should I say Michaelangelo! That's what I call him after my first JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel and BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment. He made me feel like I was 30 again!"
- Terri 44

· "I contemplated getting BOTOX® Cosmetic for several months and had a couple of consultations at big plastic surgery offices, but I just wasn't comfortable. Michael gave me the time and attention I needed to feel comfortable with the experience and I'm so glad I finally went through with it. Thanks Michael!"

BOTOX® Cosmetic
How does BOTOX® Cosmetic work?
BOTOX® Cosmetic works by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to the injected muscles, which reduces the activity of the muscles that cause persistent lines to form.

How long do BOTOX® Cosmetic injections last?
Depending on each patient, the treatment may last between three and six months.

Is there any discomfort associated with the actual injection?
Some patients report minor discomfort associated with the injection.

Are touch-up injections necessary?
We recommend touch-ups approximately three to four times per year, depending on each patient's unique analysis.

Is there a recovery period necessary after the procedure?
Since BOTOX® Cosmetic is a ten minute, non-surgical procedure, there is no recovery period and patients may return to normal activity immediately.

Is there any side effects in the days following the procedure?
There are minimal reported side effects which fade within the first week, including slight bruising at the injection site. Patients with neuromuscular disease or a history of cardiovascular complications should consult their physician prior to this procedure.

RESTYLANE®
What is Restylane®?

Restylane is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.

What is Restylane® made of?
Restylane is the first cosmetic dermal filler made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide volume and fullness to the skin. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is a crystal-clear gel called NASHA,™ or Non- Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid. NASHA is biodegradable and fully biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid.

Is Restylane® safe?
Yes. Restylane® has been used by dermatologists and plastic surgeons since 1996 worldwide. There is limited risk of animal based disease transmission or allergic reaction. Restylane® is fully biocompatible and allergy testing is not required. Restylane® contains trace amounts of gram-positive bacterial proteins and should not be used by patients with a history of allergies to such material. After your treatment, you might have some redness or swelling. This will normally last less than seven days. Sunbathing and cold outdoor activities should be avoided until any redness or swelling disappears. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under 18, you shouldn’t use Restylane®.

Can Restylane® be used anywhere on the face?
Restylane® has been used in more than 1.5 million treatments in over 60 countries to correct a variety of wrinkles. In the US the FDA has approved Restylane® for wrinkles and folds like the ones rom the nose to the corners of the mouth. Michael will consult with you prior to your injection regarding common treatment areas.

How long does Restylane® last?
Restylane® is proven to deliver long-lasting results. Studies have shown that Restylane® effects generally last for about six months.

RADIESSE®

Radiesse® is a long-lasting, natural and non-invasive solution for diminishing lines and restoring vitality to your skin. Radiesse® is a gel made with a synthetic form of calcium hydroxylapitite (CaHA) that can be injected into the skin to fill in facial folds, wrinkles and depressions. CaHA is a primary component of teeth and bones and has been used safely for years in dentistry and orthopedic surgery. Radiesse® is used for:
• Adding fullness and improving the contour of the lips
• Reducing wrinkles between the nose and the mouth
• Diminishing scars from surgery and acne
• Restoring the natural contours of the cheeks
• Nose augmentation
• Restore volume to the hands

The soft, natural-looking results of Radiesse® treatment can last for up to four years.
The Radiesse Procedure.

Local anesthetic may be used. Michael will gently inject the creamy gel into your skin. After Radiesse® is injected, the gel will build up your skin tissue and fill in and restore fullness to lines, wrinkles and scars. Radiesse® can also be used to reconstruct the nose, cheek bones, and restore youth to the hands. Over time, the gel will be absorbed naturally into the skin. The Radiesse® process is virtually painless and can be completed in as little as 15 minutes, depending on the area that is involved. The results can be seen immediately.
Radiesse® Recovery.

You may experience some mild swelling for the first day after your Radiesse® treatment. Ice can be used to diminish any swelling. Normal activities can begin immediately after Radiesse® treatment.

JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel
JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. Like Restylane®, Juvederm® is composed of non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a substance found naturally in the human body. JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel is fully biocompatible. There is limited risk of animal-based disease transmission or development of allergic reactions to animal proteins. No allergy testing is required before use.*

JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel maintains its shape using the body's own moisture. The hyaluronic acid in JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel is hydrophilic or "water loving." As hyaluronic acid gradually degrades, each molecule binds to more water and over time, the same volume can be maintained with less hyaluronic acid. This ability of hyaluronic acid to bind to water is what helps provide long-lasting results.

There are 2 types of JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel known as Ultra and Ultra Plus. Choice of treatment will be discussed and determined at the time of your consultation with Michael.

How do Dermal Fillers work?
Dermal Fillers work by injecting hayaluronic acid, a crystal clear gel into the lines which fills them in. Dermal Fillers can also be used to augment the lips and restore their natural shape and fullness.

How does Chemical Peeling and Microderm Abrasion work?
Chemical Peeling and Microderm Abrasion work by removing layers of epidermis, thus revitalizing the overall appearance of the skin and restoring its glow.

Chemical peels remove damaged outer layers of skin on the face to smooth texture, reduce scarring, and remove blemishes and pre-cancerous growths to produce healthy, glowing skin. Peel formulas and strengths are tailored to each patient. Peels can be combined with other procedures such as facelifts for a younger look. They may be covered by insurance if they are performed for medical rather than cosmetic reasons.
